CAD Technician needed for structural engineering projects. Project types include bridges, buildings, and shop drawing preparation for precast concrete producers. Proficiency in concrete detailing using AutoCAD is required. The ability to read contract drawings, plan, organize and lay out drawing sheets, and accurately perform the work is essential. An excellent understanding of plane and solid geometry and superior arithmetic skills is also required.

Job Description

This job is a structural engineering position, involving analysis, design and programming. Structure types include highway bridges, buildings, and unusual and unique structures. Design media include prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and composites. The successful candidate will have experience in analyzing and designing structures and developing the accompanying structural drawings, specifications, and reports. The engineer will work under the guidance of a senior structural engineer and with other structural engineers and cad technicians.

In addition to rendering engineering services, Eriksson Technologies develops, markets, and supports state-of-the-art structural engineering software. Approximately half of the work of this job will involve developing structural analysis and design software and providing technical assistance to our software group as needed. This will involve creating model calculations using Mathcad to serve as a prelude to their implementation in a formal programming language as well as developing programs and portions of programs. Experience in the C, C++ or C# programming languages is a plus.

Marketing assistant needed to perform the following tasks: assist in creation and execution of marketing plan for company's software products and technical services, identify submarkets, locate and identify target organizations and individuals, improve position of corporate website in search engines (search engine optimization, SEO) develop and administer on-line customer surveys, perform market research on competitors, and estimate sizes of target markets.

The successful candidate will provide important and meaningful contributions to the growth of the company.  This is an excellent opportunity for a business or marketing major to gain some real hands-on market experience.  This is not a sales or telemarketing position.

Rate $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
